Choose wall art using the finished outer dimensions. A float frame changes how much wall an artwork occupies. Measure the available space first, then compare a single print with a pair before deciding.
Understand the dimensions on the product page
Maison Remea sizes are given as width × height. Portrait and landscape works have different orientations; selecting a size does not rotate the composition. Sizes and finishes vary by artwork. Use the selected dimensions on the product page and the current size reference rather than generic labels such as small or large.
Allow for the selected finish
Use the outside dimensions of the complete artwork, including its outer frame where applicable. Do not add a guessed border: profiles and overall dimensions can vary. A paper template should represent the complete object you intend to hang.
Calculate a pair as one arrangement
For two prints side by side, total width equals the first outer frame width plus the gap plus the second outer frame width. For example, two frames each 48 cm wide with an 8 cm gap create a 104 cm-wide arrangement. Those are sample frame measurements, not dimensions of a Maison Remea framing product.
Centre that complete arrangement over the furniture, rather than centring each print separately on its half of the wall. Matching outer frame dimensions simplify alignment. Start by aligning the top edges, then check whether the compositions feel balanced together.
Test scale before committing
Make paper rectangles in the proposed outer sizes. Hold them in place or use an appropriate removable fixing that will not damage the wall finish. Look from the doorway, the seat opposite and the side of the room. A size that seems large at arm’s length can look modest from several metres away.
Allow clear space around switches, shelves, opening doors and lights. Above furniture, keep the arrangement visually connected while leaving enough clearance for normal use. If you are unsure between two sizes, compare both templates in the same position rather than relying on a room render.
Check the final order
Confirm the artwork, orientation, finish and selected dimensions together. For a gallery pair, check that two distinct artwork names are listed and that the selected size and finish apply to both. Confirm included components before ordering.
